Wood Decay Treatment
Nikron Pest & Termite Control offers a complete wood decay treatment program. Which includes the following:
- Complete treatment of all wood under home, using borate.
- Moisture barrier - Apply poly to 70% - 80% of your crawl space.
- Temperature vents, also known as temp vents. These vents works completely off of temperature. When the temperature is 70 degress or higher the vents are completely open. As the temperature drops the vents start to close. When the temperature gets to 40 degrees or colder, the vents are completely closed.
- Powered vents - These vents force air movement under the home, and help reduce relative humidity decreasing the chances of wood decay fungus. *Note: Customer must hire a licensed Electrician to install power sources to run the powered vents.
attic insulation
Nikron Pest & Termite Controls offers T.A.P. (Thermal Acoustical Pest) Insulation. This special insulation contains 12.5% boric acid. You must be a licensed Pest Control Operator (PCO) to offer this product. This product when applied to your attic could reduce your energy bill as much as 30%.
Attic Restoration
Nikron Pest & Termite Control offers total attic restoration. We will remove all your old insulation, treat your attic with borate and vidal oxide, then blow in the amount of R-Value that is state recommended to help save and protect your home from high energy cost. We recommend a R-Value of R- 49 or greater.
